Good Points
• It’s light. Ridiculously light.
• The four corner stake-down points prevent the bivy from wrapping around you when you roll over in your sleep.
• The zipper opens down to about the waist, making it very easy to get in and out.
• Maybe it’s the Tyvek material or just the season, but it seems to have better heat retention than regular bivies.
• I was able to sleep comfortably and warmly using just a sleeping bag liner.
Areas for Improvement
• I wish it came with a waterproof zipper—it would’ve been worth it.
When I used a Nemo Tensor All Season Wide pad, I personally felt the bivy was uncomfortably tight.
I even tried placing the pad outside the bivy, thinking that would help—but it kept shifting around, which was frustrating.
That experience made me genuinely wish it had about 200mm more in both width and height.
