Larda

Larda is a floorless pyramid shelter for one or two people. Weighing 370g (including stuff sack), it is thoroughly lightweight.

Two large vents are placed at the apex. Longer guards are attached to both sides of the vents to prevent rain from blowing into the shelter while promoting ventilation inside the shelter and reducing condensation.

Fly fabric is 10D double-sided sil-nylon. The entrance section has a waterproof double zipper to make the entire shelter waterproof. The double zipper allows the entrance to be opened and closed from either the top or the bottom.

The peg-down points, guy-rope connections, and pole contact points, all of which are prone to stress on the fabric, are reinforced with Dyneema. Guy-rope connections are provided on four sides of the shelter (front, back, left, and right) and at the top of the shelter for a total of five points, providing excellent wind resistance against wind from all directions.

A maximum height of 135 cm ensures sufficient head clearance inside the shelter. The 265 x 170cm floor area provides enough space for two adults to sleep.

An optional inner tent can be used to add a mosquito net inside the shelter. It is also recommended to use the shelter without the inner tent in combination with a vivy such as the MT Bivy. In addition, the optional carbon pole extender can be used to create an A-shaped frame with two poles and no poles in the center of the shelter.
